Acetal is so tough that Mercedes Benz is making their higher ratio gears in their 6 speed boxes from this very material. The mounts are designed by a well known custom gun maker from Sydney and they all come with lifetime manufacturers warranty. A single hex screw means that they can be mounted or taken off a rifle in less than a minute. These mounts are ideal if you have expensive gear that you do not want to scratch with steel mounts.
